Christmas

 Merry Christmas!!!

We dearly missed you this Christmas. The cards and presents were loved by everyone. Sasha almost crapped herself when she saw the camera. The two of you are so good at the gift of giving that I can't imagine a Christmas without you. I imagine when you're old you'll start looking like St. Nick as well...

So about half way through the evening I came up with an idea! What if we took some pictures of the evening and sent them to Tom and Sheila so they could see how things went down.

Now next year I will be much more prepared and I will make a more thorough account of the evening. But thus far this is how it went.

While taking a picture of Khristian I encouraged him by "calling him a nasty little panda bear," this is the result. I know that he might not be as good looking as me or a panda but this picture tells a story none-the-less.

This is Sasha about half an hour after opening your gift. She was absolutely blown away. It was worth the entire drive up to see her face open that gift alone. She said "I can't believe I sold my camera to get a laptop and in return got a camera better than both combined."

As expected the camera and accessories are in perfect condition. She literally could not put the camera down all night.

What a great idea. Good job.

This is my girlfriend Anne. I still can't quite figure out what she's doing with me but I'll certainly stay with her in the mean time.

Anne and I drove up the evening before with Khristian. We only stayed until Christmas Eve evening because we had to celebrate at her parents house the next day.

Holy fucking shit look at Molly! For the first time in my entire life I can put my arms around her and touch my hands.  She has lost 100 pounds!!!!

There literally was a skinny person inside of her trying to claw her way out. It's absolutely fascinating - I can't digest it still (I know very punny).

Also let me say that she was the absolute best this holiday. No embarrassing conversation, composed, polite, and thankful. I'm beginning to think that someone has abducted my mother and they are wearing a skin suit... disturbing.

I truly think things are getting better for her in all respects. Lets see how long we can keep this going.

Here is the queen bee herself, the saint of our time, the favorite of all whom have met her, and the enemy of demons - Grandma.

She made great sandwiches and soup for dinner that Christmas Eve and of course... deviled eggs. The result of the deviled eggs made the passengers of my car quite weary on the trip down. I think Grandma knew that would happen.

This is precisely what you would see anyway if you have ever been to any celebration at the Miske household. Grandpa doing the dishes, 50% cleaning and 50% breaking. Grandma picking up and cracking the whip on the old man. And all is well.

I don't know why but this scene always brings joy to my heart.

This is Sasha's boyfriend Ryan. I'm not sure if you've met this kid yet but he's great. He's a regular ol' pot head stoner hippy who is just as nice as can be. I'm a fan.

There's that look! I love this guy so much. Grandpa is the model for what all men should be.

I wish we could share some of his heredity as this guy can remember everything it seems. I can't believe he still knows French from high school when I can't even remember one lick of German aside from "how are you," and "where is the beer?"

One more time.

The more I look at this picture the more I like it. Really great color contrast.

This is Bob's fear of the new printer. I put it together and he followed my every move taking notes as I went. I love him so much too.

In fact once I'm done with this post here I'm going to drive to his house.

The printer went together without flaw. No instructions needed (I got the same one at work) and no problems whatsoever.

Sasha making a funny face.

I just realized what his hat means!!! Hustle Trees! hahaha. Clever.

I think she is enjoying living with Grandma. Why not make it the Molly progeny boot camp for the whole gambit.

And what kind of family would we be without one of these awful and horribly awkward pictures!

Thank you very much once again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Anne and I are trying to put together a proposal where we can drive over and hang out for a couple days.

I love you both so much and I cannot express how truly grateful I am for everything.
